SCENAIRO:
I'm sitting at a desk full of people working on a worksheet for biology. I'm sick, so when I let out a cough, it sounds horrible. The boy sitting next to me starts complaining about how he doesn't want to get infected. Thing is I covered my mouth before coughing. I wanted him to be quiet, so I say "Shut up, midget". Apparently, he went from disgusting to offeneded in under 3 seconds and leaves the table.</scene>
What confuses me is that wasn't the only time I had made fun of his height. Yet, I'm on a guilt trip. This is also something I'm not use to, seeing as half of my friends are short and have been made fun of by your truly. They usually saying something smart back and that was the end of it. I want to say I'm sorry, but then again, I think he's being such an ass and stop taking things so seriously. Seeing how I'm so damn quiet and "shy" this year, me even saying a insult to him is a sign that I like him. What should I do?
